Nessma Djouhri (b.1994) is an Algerian ceramic artist based in Dubai. Her practice explores the history of objects, fragmented narratives, and the storytelling potential of clay. Over the past decade, she has developed a body of work that spans functional ceramics and sculptural pieces, infusing narrative into forms rooted in everyday life. Her recent focus returns to a more contemplative approach, where clay becomes a medium for personal reflection and imagined worlds, drawing on archetypal visual language and the Jungian school of thought.
